Aslı Özge

She was born in 1975 in Istanbul. She graduated from the Department of Cinema and Television of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Marmara University. She won various awards from various festivals by her short film Capital C that she made in 2000. She made her feature film entitled as Little Bit of April with the financial support of the German Academy of Cinema and Television and the German television channel, ZDF/3sat. She completed her documentary film Hesparos’ Apprentices in 2005. She is currently working on her follow-up feature Asphyxia that received the script development award at the Thessalonica Film Festival’s Balkan Fund in 2005.
